Hkpskv is based in Luleå and has the main task of conducting ground operational activities with helicopters. Currently, about 120 employees work in the squadron, which operates with Helicopter 14. The squadron is in growth, and this recruitment is aimed at building the squadron's own base capability, where we are now looking for someone interested in working in platoon leadership.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with good social skills and flexibility; you are careful and responsible as the position often involves working independently and in smaller units. You want to develop as a leader in peace, crisis, and war, and have a desire to develop your personnel and platoon together. Regardless of background, it is important that you are meticulous and unpretentious, which also means you are a good team player. You are flexible and can handle temporary peaks in workload and possess a good ability to make decisions. Being action-oriented and innovative are important qualities as the base capability is under construction.
As part of the platoon leadership, you stand up for your employees but are also not afraid to set demands. You are careful and follow up on your assigned activities in a way that elevates your subordinates to greater heights. You address problems directly when they arise and have a good ability to read situations and people.
Main Responsibilities
The helicopter squadron is looking for someone who wants to join the Platoon Leadership as the squadron starts to develop its own base capability (1. Base Company). The Base Company is responsible for coordinating and driving the training of the squadron's conscripts and building the capability to base the helicopter squadron in the field.
- Personnel issues such as work schedule planning, development, and training plans
- Development of routines and development plans for building base capability
- Coordinate conscript training with F 21
- Coordinate the continued soldier training for all conscripts in the squadron
- Participate in systematic work environment efforts
- Responsible for necessary competence development
- Plan and conduct exercise activities

Meritorious
- Experience with the PRIO system
- Experience with administrative tasks
- Experience with troop training
- Experience in a supervisory position
- Instructor training
- Driving license category C, CE or military driver's license
Other
The employment is a permanent position that may start with a six-month probationary period.

Salary: Individual salary setting according to the Armed Forces' agreement
Start date: As soon as possible by agreement.

The Armed Forces Helicopter Wing is a unit with both ground and maritime operational focus that can operate in missions in Sweden and internationally.
Helicopter support is requested by many, for example for personnel, material, or medical transports, command, reconnaissance, or surveillance missions. The Helicopter Wing often participates in missions and exercises with other units but also as support to society in various crisis situations.
Operating throughout Sweden, the variety of tasks, and the size of the wing with over 950 employees provide a variation in work and opportunities for personal development. The majority of the Helicopter Wing is located in Linköping (Malmen), where we also manage Malmen Airport and Linköping Garrison, with two large units in Luleå (Kallax) and Ronneby (Kallinge).
